ABOUT ME
Pre-COVID-19, Julie was an avid American Airlines mileage collector. She could be found half the year on a plane flying most often to New York City where she works as a local, the other half on a helicopter shooting deep in the jungles of Honduras in Central America. Julie has been known to shoot on planes, trains, automobiles, cruise ships and oil tankers. One of her most vivid projects involved flying an entire crew with gear to Norway to shoot a project then called Twin Marine Lifter, a documentary about oil rigs. Her most challenging yet rewarding project to date, was flying herself, an international crew and a helicopter into one of the most dangerous countries in the world, Honduras, to shoot The Lost City of the Monkey God. Times have unfortunately changed, Julie now often finds herself shooting locally in Los Angeles, on covid safe sets following all the health and safety protocols now known as "the new normal".

Julie knew at a young age she wanted to work in Hollywood. She began her career, a fresh graduate of Arizona State University in television Marketing at CBS, transitioned into International Theatrical Marketing at Fox, and ended her Marketing career at New Line Cinema where Lord of the Rings won the most Academy Awards a film could possibly acquire. It was then she realized being on set shooting live action was where she wanted to call home.

Julie consistently completing projects on time and on budget, has led her to be requested by top Movie Studios and Production companies time and again. She is a hands-on leader who reliably foresees problems and creates timely solutions. She is a masterful connector and adept communicator who keeps the crew inspired and on task while maintaining high client satisfaction.
